On 27 June 2023, Redge Technologies completed the acquisition of a majority stake in mediaTool company. This strategic move is in line with Redge Technologies’ development focus on FAST (free-ad supported-streaming TV) content, as it integrates the proprietary Redge Media platform with an advanced service for managing the scheduling and playout of linear content.

mediaTool is the developer of mediaTool.tv, a SaaS solution that provides comprehensive management of the TV channel broadcasting process. Its primary function is to automate all aspects of content management and scheduling for both traditional linear content and FAST channels. mediaTool.tv operates on a cloud-based platform, that eliminates the need for complex integration processes.

Redge Technologies is a leading provider of OTT and edge computing technologies in CEE. The company’s flagship solution, Redge Media, is a white-label platform for building Internet TV, dedicated to broadcasters and content distributors. Available in PaaS and on-prem models, the platform consists of an SDP layer for service and content management and a VDP layer for content processing and distribution.
